What: The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) Chapter will be hosting a lecture by Raymond Giroux, recipient of the ASCE’s prestigious Civil Engineering History and Heritage Award for 2013. In his talk, entitled “Building Golden Gate Bridge”, Mr. Giroux will utilize a combination of historic photographs and dynamic animation techniques to bring the construction of the bridge to life, providing an unique learning opportunity.
