What: SEGSO is hosting a tour of the Blue Waters supercomputing facility. Blue Waters is one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world, and is the fastest supercomputer on a university campus. Scientists and engineers across the country use the computing and data power of Blue Waters to tackle a wide range of challenging problems.
When: Friday, April 3rd, 2015 at 12:50 pm.
Where: National Petascale Computing Facility, 1725 S. Oak St., Champaign, IL. We will be meeting at the front entrance of the building (corner of Oak St and St. Marys Rd)
Note: If you need a ride, please email Julia (jplews2@illinois.edu). There are metered parking spots on the Northwest side of Lot E 14 (across the street).
