EERI Lecture: Lessons to Civil Engineering Practice from the 2010 Chilean Earthquake

What? Rod Betanzo, Fulbright Scholar and Graduate Research student at the University of Illinois, will be giving a lecture on the devastating 2010 Chilean earthquake. Rod will discuss the direct impacts of the earthquake of magnitude (Mw) 8.8, and its general significance to civil engineering practice. Click on the abstract below for more details.
