On Tuesday, February 25th at 3:30 PM, Professor David Billington, the Newmark Distinguished Lecturer, will be taking time to meet with students and answer questions. This would be a great opportunity to ask any questions you have regarding the lecture, or of his research and career in general.
Professor Billington is recognized for his work in large-scale dams and bridge infrastructure, as well as a larger historic picture of engineering in the twentieth century. He will be addressing the role of civil engineers in society and the impacts of civil engineering and architecture during Monday’s Distinguished Newmark lecture.
The meeting will take place in 1311 Newmark.
Please RSVP below if you’re interested in attending!
